Aim is to develop indicators of seabed change combining geological data, 30+ years of bathymetric time series, and to contribute pro-actively to exploitation strategies in environments with increasing sand scarcity. Doctoral degree to be obtained at Ghent University (BE), Geology. PhD in close cooperation with Twente University (NL) focussing on model development. The project is guided by an extensive stakeholder community.
