Y-NCK Mudflat excursion and NIOZ visit

Young-NCK organized a mudflat excursion and visit to the NIOZ on Texel.

The afternoon started with a visit to NIOZ, the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research, including a talk from Oscar Franken on Wadden Sea ecology and a tour of the labs. Next, participants explored the mudflats in the Mokbaai. After the excursion, they took the 18:00 ferry back to the mainland.
