Google Earth Engine course
The Netherlands Centre for River Studies (NCR) organises a Google Earth Engine course on the 7th of February at Deltares in Delft.
Google Earth Engine combines a multi-petabyte catalog of satellite imagery and geospatial datasets with planetary-scale analysis capabilities and makes it available for scientists, researchers, and developers to detect changes, map trends, and quantify differences on the Earth’s surface.
In this workshop you will get an hand-on introduction to work with the Google Earth Engine, how to write your own scripts and how to share your scripts in the online Open Earth community on Github.
- This course will provide an introduction into the Google Earth Engine platform (basic to intermediate levels).
- It is aimed toward PhD researchers and last-year MSc students. However, anyone is welcome.
- It is completely free to attend, but:
- There are limited spots available. People who register after the maximum has been reached will be placed on a waiting list.
This NCR course will be given by dr. Gennadii Donchyts and dr. Hessel Winsemius of Deltares.
Details will be made available soon.
