Field Excursion Drowned Land of Saeftinghe

Join the NCK Community for an Exciting Field Excursion to the Drowned Land of Saeftinghe!

Organized by Y-NCK, we're thrilled to invite you to explore the largest brackish tidal wetland in Europe with us. This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the history, ecology, and hydro-morphodynamics of this inspiring place, get to know fellow NCK'ers, and get muddy!

Time: 08:00 AM - 18:00 PM
Meeting Point: Utrecht (8:00 AM), Breda (9:15 AM) or Emmadorp (10:30 AM)
For Whom: Open to the entire NCK community (regardless of age or how young you feel)

Highlights:

• 3-hour excursion through the fascinating landscape of the Saeftinghe Marsh
• Talks on several aspects of the marsh, e.g., ecology, history, etc.
• Access to the visitor centre
• Organized bus with pick-up / drop-off locations in Utrecht and Breda
